Passenger questions, answered
The questions below come up most often in the first minutes of a conversation, so here they are in advance. If yours is not here, ask it on WhatsApp, you will not be the first and it costs nothing to check. The companions board and the destinations board answer most of the rest.

Q01How far ahead can I arrange an evening?
As far ahead as you like. Plenty of travellers write a week or two before a trip, particularly when they want a specific companion on a specific night, and it costs nothing to pencil something in early. We will confirm again on the day so that nothing depends on a plan made a fortnight ago. Advance arrangements are especially worth making for Utrecht, Den Haag and Rotterdam, where the choice of who can travel that evening narrows as the day goes on.
Q02What should the first message actually say?
Three things are enough: who you would like to meet, the name of your hotel and roughly when. That is a single line of typing. You do not need to explain why you are in the city, describe yourself or answer any questions to qualify. If you have no name in mind, write that instead and describe the evening you want, a quiet dinner, a late bar, company for a long night after a long flight, and we will suggest two or three women it suits.
Q03Can I book for a restaurant or an event rather than a hotel room?
Yes, and it is one of the most common bookings we take. Your companion can meet you at the restaurant, in the hotel lobby, at a bar or at the venue itself, whichever is simplest. Tell us the address and the time of the reservation and she will be there before you are. For a business dinner or an event with a dress code, say so when you book so she can dress for the room rather than for a guess at it.
Q04Do you visit private apartments as well as hotels?
We do. Serviced apartments, rented flats and private residences across the Amsterdam districts are all fine, and long-stay travellers make up a good share of our bookings. We ask for the full address, the floor and the door code or buzzer name in advance, because a companion standing outside a locked street door in the rain helps nobody. Anything that would make arrival awkward is worth mentioning while we are arranging the time.
Q05What will she wear, and can I ask for something specific?
She dresses for the setting you describe, which is why we ask what the evening involves. A formal restaurant, a hotel bar, a concert and a quiet room each call for something different, and every companion on the board knows the difference. A polite, specific request is welcome, an elegant dress for dinner, something less conspicuous for a small hotel where the reception is three steps from the lift. Requests that cross into anything explicit are not part of this, and we will say so plainly.
Q06Can I extend once she has arrived?
Often, yes. If her evening is otherwise free she can stay longer, and the simplest thing is to message us while there is still time to check rather than in the last five minutes. The extension is quoted at the same clear rate as the original booking, agreed before it starts, with no awkward negotiation in the room. If she has another commitment afterwards she will tell you honestly, early in the evening rather than at the door.
Q07What happens if my flight is delayed or my plans collapse?
Travel goes wrong constantly and we plan for it. Message us as soon as you know and we will move the booking to a later hour, to another night, or cancel it without drama. Everything is handled in the same WhatsApp thread, so there is no form to fill in and nobody to explain yourself to. The only thing we ask is that the message comes as early as you can manage, because a companion who is already in a taxi has fewer options than one who is still at home.
Q08What language will the evening be in?
English, always. It is the language every woman on the board speaks and the working language of every booking we take, including the conversation with us. That is deliberate rather than accidental: our guests are travellers, and an evening only works when both people can talk freely and neither is translating in their head. If you would like to know how fluent a particular companion is before you commit to a three-hour dinner, ask us and we will tell you honestly.
Q09Do you really travel outside Amsterdam?
Regularly. Rotterdam, Den Haag and Utrecht are proper destinations on our board rather than favours we occasionally do, and the hotels around the airport are our signature ground. The starting fare does not change with the distance, only the notice does, and for the Randstad cities most travellers book a longer format because an hour is not much of an evening after an hour on a train. Send the city and the hotel and we will tell you what is realistic.
Q10Is there an age policy?
There is, and it is firm at both ends of the conversation. Every companion on the board is 21 or over, and this website and every booking made through it are for adults aged 21 and over. Ages listed on the profiles are the real ones, not rounded down for effect, and they are identical wherever you see them. If a stated age ever stops being accurate, the profile comes off the board rather than being quietly adjusted.
Q11What is not part of a booking?
This is a companionship service. You are booking a woman's time, her conversation and her company for dinner, drinks, an event or an evening in, and that is the entire arrangement. Every companion sets her own limits and they are respected without discussion. Pressure, rudeness, intoxication and any attempt to renegotiate what was agreed will end an evening on the spot, and the terms put that in writing so nobody has to wonder.
Q12Can I book more than one companion for the same evening?
Yes, for a dinner with colleagues, an event where arriving as a pair of couples is easier, or simply a longer table. Tell us how many and when, and give us as much notice as you can, because matching two or three free evenings takes longer than matching one. Each companion is quoted individually at the rates set out on the fare card, and each one accepts or declines her own booking.
Q13How is the fare handled on the night?
The figure you see in your WhatsApp thread before she leaves is the figure that applies, and it does not move afterwards. It is settled directly with your companion at the start of the booking, quietly and without ceremony, so that nothing hangs over the evening. Any extension is agreed the same way, in writing, before it begins. If a figure ever seems unclear to you, ask in the thread and we will restate it in plain numbers.
Q14I am between flights at the airport. Does that work?
It works if your hotel is landside, on the public side of passport control, which covers every hotel around Schiphol that you can check into. If you are in transit without having cleared immigration, no visitor can reach you, and we would rather say that now than after you have booked. Give us sixty to ninety minutes and the name of the hotel, or better still, write from the gate at your departure airport and land with the evening already arranged.
